When we are talking about dreams we have two kinds. The ones we dream when we sleep and the ones we dream when we are awake. Both of them have the power to affect us.
When we are dreaming awake, we have the power of controlling our dreams and take a decision on how big or small they are. We are the artist and we are holding the brush on the canvas of our dreams. There are no limits on our canvas, we are in our current situation because we have decided to be there and every choice we made got us in that place. If we want to go somewhere else, it is very simple; we just have to change the course of the brush by making the decisions that will take us there.
Dream big
The only person that can set limits to our dreams is our self. Success will only come to us when we dream big, when we set the goals and take the necessary steps to achieve them.
When we begin to dream big dreams, we immediately increase our level of self-esteem and self-confidence. We feel more positively about our self. The reason so many people accomplish so little is that they never allow themselves to let go and just imagine the kind of life that is possible for them out of the fear of failure. When you truly want something and go after it without limiting yourself with disbelief, the universe will make it happen.
As I also wrote in a previous post, the art of getting what you want, our life becomes what we think and the world could be considered our mirror. To quote Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it”.
What you think, you create. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you become. The biggest power there is, is our imagination.
We should never let anyone define the size of our dreams, simply because we are the only ones that can decide that. Because we are in control; when we believe in our dreams there is no room for people that can bring us down simply because they can’t, because it’s not their dreams.
Never stop following your dreams.
So now imagine that life is a big lucid dream, and you are the dreamer that rules the world, what would you do?
