How to shift your energy in difficult times

The situation that we are all experiencing right now is surely difficult and a lot of us have feelings of uncertainty, anxiety and fear. As humans we all experience different emotions but the majority of us have never learned how to actually deal with them. During these difficult times it’s important to remember the power we have to steady our emotions and raise our energy.

When those uncomfortable feelings show up, instead of running away from them we should learn to channel them and let them move through us allowing space for new positive ones to come through. When we allow the space to process our emotions we will bounce back stronger. This collective experience is here to show us that we are not our emotions but rather an observant that gets to choose the direction in which we want to go. It will make us realize that in every situation the only thing that could ever bother us is our perception of it.

Do we want to dive in despair? Or rise in consciousness? That is a choice we get to make.

Meditate

Strengthening our mind and connecting with our body and the universe will reduce stress and boost our immune system. ⁣By bringing our awareness back to our body, we can notice where the energy is lacking and restore our balance.

Express gratitude

Gratitude is very important in shifting our energy. Is the key of happiness creating physiological changes similar to love. It strengthens our overall positive attitude, which causes a rewiring in the brain’s neurochemistry- increasing our overall feeling of happiness.

Dream

We should use this time to set powerful intentions of what we want to manifest. Setting intentions programs our subconscious to look for opportunities and make decisions that support us in reaching our desires. It also communicates to the universe and our spirit guides what we desire support with.

Play

If we are at home with our family we should use it as an opportunity to connect more. If we are stuck far away from them, then we should take the opportunity and use the technology, that so easily we can all access nowadays, to connect through that.

Get Inspired

Strengthening our spirit will support our trust that all is well and that we are infinite beings that will get through this. Reading something inspiring whether that is a quote, a blog post or a book, will help inspire and shift our energy in a positive direction.

Nourish

Nourishing our body by eating healthy food, drinking plenty of water, moving our body, sleeping enough, laughing a lot and getting enough sunlight.

Final Thoughts

Don’t deny yourself from anything; emotions are just spectrums that come and go and when we observe them as these things that we experience, that allows us in turn to then take control and choose in any moment how we want to feel.

We need to remember that we have the power to guide our energy and our emotions. May we lean into joy, peace and hopefulness and remember that The Universe loves us. We are resilient souls and this too shall pass. We are going to be ok. ⁣
